Product Strategy
- Understand the company's current and evolving business goals and translate them into a maintainable product vision and roadmap
Alignment of product roadmap with market and competitive trends and customer demands
- Lead and develop
Product strategy and end state planning in partnership with customers
Pricing strategy
Competitive product positioning
Market & customer analysis, competitive / benchmarking analysis and feature parity analysis
Business plans, partnership plans, GTM plans and the associated financial projections across new and existing solutions
Drive Gate 1, 2 and 3 for PLM process
Internal stakeholder management
- Act as main point person between customers and Nucleus. Know the customers- strategies, how to navigate their organizations, how to get information, and develop processes for effective communication
- Work with new and potential customers to understand their needs and the business value that they will derive from using our products
- Work closely with Customer Services, Sales and Marketing teams to help identify trends and new business opportunities
- Evaluate third party companies and solutions and drive build vs. buy vs. partner decisions
- Build industry presence through participation/presence in industry for a, technology/domain panels to enhance Nucleus- market-presence, contribute thought leadership as well as seek information on changing trends and best-practices
- Support pre-sales and sales team during RFP response, sales training, product capability demonstrations and pilot implementations
- Evangelize products and become the subject matter expert for internal audiences, external customers, and market facing communications
Technical responsibilities:
PDLC management
- Establish and deploy robust requirement-gathering processes to define product requirements as well as build continuous feedback mechanism to ensure that the business requirements are comprehended and translated in an accurate manner
- Recommend the development of new products and ways to enhance existing products. Develop industry-level, region-level and module-level roadmaps
- Proactively identify issues impacting the product line and recommend next steps/solutions
- Support and lead the common PDLC tools and processes that the Product Management organization will adopt
- Continuously improve the product development process, incorporating lessons learned and best practices
- Create Product and feature collaterals including product layout, user experience, value proposition documents, case studies, white papers, FAQs etc.
- Coordinate closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure product features meet identified and agreed upon exit criteria
People responsibilities:
People Management
- Lead a team of product management professionals, to ensure successful product launch, positioning and Selling
- Enhance productivity through training and tools
- Drive a high level of employee engagement by effectively communicating company strategy and product vision
- Evangelize a product management culture within the organization, including establishment of product development gating processes, best practices, and policies
- Mentor and coach the team members and drive internal convergence where necessitated through consultative leadership
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS/ CERTIFICATION/ EXPERIENCES
- MBA from a premier institution
- High-energy, creatively-driven, hard-working. impeccable integrity
- Excellent written and oral communication and presentation skills. Ability to communicate with technical and non-technical audiences
- Proven ability to understand complex business and technical concepts and to be able to make good judgment when faced with trade-offs
