NRI Relationship Manager (Private Bank)
About the Job :
As an NRI Relationship Manager, your primary responsibility will be managing relationships with Non-Resident Indian (NRI) clients and strategically expanding the business.
You will play a crucial role in understanding and fulfilling the financial needs of NRIs while adhering to regulatory guidelines and maximizing customer satisfaction and retention.
Key Responsibilities :
Customer Relationship Management:
- Develop and maintain comprehensive customer profiles including risk assessment, demographics, and asset allocation within the bank.
- Regularly engage with existing NRI clients through personalized mailers, phone calls, and meetings to update them on interest rate fluctuations, exchange rate movements, and new product offerings.
- Foster deeper relationships and increase share of wallet through proactive customer engagement initiatives.
Cross-Selling and Upselling:
- Identify opportunities to cross-sell the bank's products and services as well as third-party investment products to existing NRI clients.
- Strategically deepen client relationships by understanding their financial goals and offering tailored solutions to enhance product penetration.
Account Management and Monitoring:
- Monitor the inflows and outflows of funds in NRI accounts, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and proactive identification of any irregularities.
- Track NRI visits to India and provide support and guidance on banking services during their visits.
Business Development:
- Proactively identify potential new clients who can benefit from personalized banking solutions tailored to their financial needs.
- Convert referral leads generated through existing clients, NRI brokers, stock brokers, expatriates of shipping companies, and overseas branches into new business relationships.
Performance Targets:
- Achieve monthly business targets set by the organization, focusing on revenue growth, customer acquisition, and retention.
CRM and Compliance:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all client interactions and engagement activities using the CRM (Customer Relationship Management) system.
- Ensure compliance with KYC (Know Your Customer), SEBI (Securities and Exchange Board of India) rules, and other regulatory requirements governing the banking industry.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a similar role within the banking or financial services sector, with a strong understanding of NRI banking products and services.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with NRI clients.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and delivering exceptional customer service.
- Sound knowledge of financial markets, investment products, and regulatory frameworks relevant to NRI banking.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
- Additional certifications such as CFP (Certified Financial Planner) or CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) would be advantageous.
- Local candidates will be preferred due to familiarity with local regulations and customer preferences.
