In collaboration with the Category and Divisional business partnering organizations, the Category PMO is on point to support all reporting, analysis and project management needs of senior leaders within their category and Divisional scope. By providing insights, benchmarking and external intelligence and driving key projects within the category, they play an important role in driving continuous improvement and enabling the function to achieve excellence
- Supports the development of executive management reporting and monthly/quarterly business performance reviews together with the Category/Divisional PMO
- Is the Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for Category/Divisional Head and their respective PMO; managing key projects as per timelines and driving actions in coordination with the various stakeholders
- Supports various Strategic projects of the Categories and also identifies improvement opportunities in the Categories to enable them be a better business partner for the business
- Coordination and collaboration with Category managers to ensure transparency and consistency on project status and various other data requirements
- Responsible for finding ways to improve and streamline the recurrent processes, thus allowing greater focus on value adding activities
- Leverages external information sources to provide interpretation, perspective and insights of Procurement
- Identifying opportunities for the improvement of the function, through analysis of historical performance and trends
Key skills required
Consulting experience in Procurement with experience in Analytics, Category Management strongly preferred
