Job Purpose
- This position is responsible for ensuring that HR Services are in compliance with government laws and regulations throughout the countries in scope. This means monitoring the regulatory environment, implementing compliance policies, practices and procedures and performing regulatory reporting.
- Managing these activities and providing oversight of all HR Compliance will serve to minimize HR Services organization's exposure to risk.
Major Accountabilities :
- Be the main point of contact for legal compliance
- Oversee all internal and external compliance related communications and networking
- Establish best practice compliance processes for sharing and communicating internally and to the organization
- Analyze client compliance programs and determine the best strategy and means to minimize risk
- Establish internal and external network of Labor Law advisory sources for in scope countries
- Facilitate training of the HR Service Centre employees on latest employment legislation and case law
- Be responsible for SOX control, review policies on regular basis, assess & monitor operational risk
- Actively plan business continuity for the Global Service Center
- Provide support for the transition period
- Perform other tasks as assigned by Line Manager
Experience :
- 5 years of experience in compliance related activities
- Knowledge of more than 1 country labour laws preferred
- Experience in SSC environment preferred
