Job Objective:
- To provide support to the Director - HR in policy making, and formulating HR strategy for the organization.
- To support the Regional Directors, Center Directors and oversee respective HR managers at centers in a timely manner to ensure high quality HR delivery in the organization
- To serve as the escalation point for regional level HR issues.
- To execute the HR strategy for Nova in line with NOVA's organizational strategy by means of innovative & effective HR polices, practices and people processes with the primary objective of achieving high performing and engaged workforce at an optimal resource cost.
Detailed Duties and Responsibility :
Strategic:
- Create a road map for carrying out the region specific employee engagement initiatives and people processes across all centers in the respective region
Operational:
- Assist the Director - HR in developing and improving HR systems, policies and people processes in areas such as manpower deployment, performance management, compensation and benefits, employee engagement, industrial relations to achieve high performance
- Lead the IVF HR Partner function and act as single point of contact for Director-HR for all initiatives in that IVF area thus building and managing a center of excellence for the IVF area (Recruitment & Selection, Talent Management, Compensation & Rewards including HR administration and Organizational Change & Development etc.)
- Support the process of creating the annual manpower plan for the organization with inputs on regional manpower requirement and implement the manpower plan in the respective regions
- Drive the employer branding activities in the respective region to make NOVA a preferred employer among prospective talent pool
- Oversee the implementation of the manpower plan across all the centers, monitor for deviations in number/budget etc and resolve the issue
- Oversee the that the goal setting, performance review and appraisal processes are done in a timely and fair manner in all centers across the region
- Continuously monitor the HR policies & guidelines across all the centers in the region and ensure that there is compliance with all the state/national labor laws and NOVA values
- Drive the recruitment and selection activities across all centers in the region and carryout the recruitment and selection activities for senior/critical positions at regional level
- Ensure a stable IR environment across all centers in the region by continuous monitoring and resolving usurps quickly in a timely manner
- Assess the training needs of organization across the region through performance appraisal processes and other talent management processes. Draw patterns from the analysis and support the Director - HR in designing the training programs and preparing the training calendar
- Drive and oversee employee grievance redressal system for the respective regions
- Regularly monitor attrition of different classes of employees, draw patterns from the analyses, investigate and address the issue
- Drive the employee engagement across all centers in the region in for a high performing workforce
Financial:
- Ensure no deviations from annual HR budget in the specific region for all the functions/ departments
People:
- Monitor and evaluate performance of direct reportees and guide them in managing their performance by providing appropriate feedback
- Ensure goal setting, performance appraisal and talent management initiatives happen in a timely manner for the regional HR team
- Provide subordinates with growth opportunities to ensure their development for higher-level roles
- Ensure timely identification of training needs and conduct programs for all the employees in the region

Qualification : MBA in Human Resources / PGDHRM from a premier Institute
