Noto Ice Creams - Head - Finance

We are looking for a Head of finance who shall be in-charge for the financial health of the company. As head of finance, the individual will have responsibilities including, but not limited to, preparing financial statements and business activity reports; assessing financial details to ensure regulations are met; assist management in making financial decisions, and supervising employees who work with budgets and financial reports.

This person will be performing a lot of data analysis and use their result to help them advise senior managers on how to increase their profitability. Analyzing the market trends to find ways to grow and bring in more revenue as well as reduce costs. Responsible for future growth planning and forecasting, making sure it is deeply integrated up to strategy and down to operations.

All in all we are keen for someone who will be having a holistic view of the business, putting in place what is needed to ensure the business goals are successfully achieved. This requires many skills and qualities, including resilience, confidence, relationship building and strategic thinking.

Broad Overview of Job Role and Day to Day Role :-

1) Manage & lead a team of 5-6 accountants

2) Cross departmental monthly budgeting

3) Ensure adequacy of financial reporting processes with the right checks and balances

4) Prepare MIS and financial documents monthly

5) Manage cash flow

6) Manage creditors & debtors for the company

7) External & Internal stakeholder management

8) Analysing complex financial data to prepare reports, provide insights

9) Recommend cost reduction strategies

10) Adhere to financial & taxation laws as per govt laws

11) Create secure process to contain confidential information

Skills and Preferred Qualifications and Experience:-

1) Proven work experience as a Head of Finance or similar role preferably in the manufacturing space

2) In-depth understanding of cash flow management, bank reconciliation and bookkeeping

3) Hands-on experience with budgeting and risk management

4) Excellent knowledge of data analysis and forecasting models

5) Proficiency in accounting software Tally or similar ERP

6) Solid analytical and decision-making skills

7) Leadership abilities

8) BSc/BA in Accounting, Finance or relevant field

9) MSc/MBA or relevant certification (e.g. CA/CFA) is a plus

10) Strong on communications skills

11) Having ability to multitask and manage internal and external stakeholders efficiently.
