Job Description - Data Analytic s :

This is an individual contributor role. Associate consultant, data analytics, a key member of the Model Strategy & Data Analytics Leadership Team performs a variety of validations and controls ensuring accurate default identification, calculation of realized loss given default and other data required for Basel and CCAR credit modeling.

Job Duties :

Major Duties :

- Perform validation controls around default identification and rule violations.

- Perform validation controls around post default cash flows.

- Perform validation controls around the collection of credit modeling predictive factors.

- Collect and gather credit approval documents used for various validation controls.

- Collect and gather loan processing information from various sub systems needed for validation controls.

- Assist with the collection and processing of post default expenses.

- Perform data profiling and cleansing techniques to maintain consistent and accurate information.

- Drive continuous improvement efforts to streamline data validation processes.

- Assist with adhoc projects to resolve historical data gap, data quality and data integrity issues.

Qualification : MBA in finance / Master in any baking related course

Skills Required :

- 2+ years' experience working with banking loan data.

- 4+ years' experience in data analytics and/or business intelligence.

- Extensive knowledge of SQL and data cleansing principals in SAS.

- Extensive experience with SAP Business Objects report development.

- Able to troubleshoot data issues, validate result sets, recommend and implement process improvements

- Good problem solving skills including error detection and root cause analysis
