As a Senior Merchandiser, the candidate will be responsible for handling the planning, inseason management & commercial steering of a key part of our fashion retail business across all our Retail channels & customer types. As we are very much still a startup at the core, we are looking for somebody deeply passionate and committed in making an impactful contribution to the region.
Key Responsibilities :
- Managing and preparing the divisional budgets and forecasts
- Ensuring all financial KPI's are being met or exceeded
- Managing product life cycles and ensuring appropriate ranging decisions are made
- Influence, manage and develop the assortment strategy alongside Buying counterpart
- Ensure the assortment and ranging policies are aligned to the wider business strategy
- Re-Planning and forecasting of the relevant variables including OTB, sales, margin, profit, stockturn and margin mix highlighting opportunities, threats and required action
- Drive establishment of relationships with key stakeholders
- Monitor the buying critical path to ensure timely decision making
- Ensure best in class data driven approach to reporting, analytics, planning and in season management
- Leading, motivating & growing a small team
Qualifications :
- Degree in Business, Economics, Mathematics or comparable field experience
- 5+ years of Merchandising experience in the fashion e-commerce space
- Experience in leading a small data-driven team, with a successful track record
- Strong influencing, negotiation and communication skills
