Overview :

As a Merchandising Manager, Private Label Brands, you will be responsible to drive sales and profitability for the private label assortment of Noon, owning processes and delivering best practice that addresses customer needs across devices.

Key Job Responsibilities :

- Developing and Executing Sales Strategies to achieve goals

- Ensure high quality A+ content for private label assortment to achieve conversion targets

- Devise optimal pricing strategies to ensure competitive edge of private label assortment along with maintaining profitability goals

- Create forecasting plans to ensure profitability by maintaining and building consumer focused brand/category lines and managing SKU performance and efficiency

- Track and evaluate brand/category sales performance, market sales trends and competitor trading activities to identify critical business factors and proposed action plans to increase sales and profitability

- Consolidates and analyzes actual sales results to plan and forecast in-season sales/inventories on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis to drive sales, bottom-line profitability and inventory targets to meet or exceed financial goals

- Ensures identification of buying opportunities to source products and to ensure that business unit maintains its competitive edge by constant renegotiation

- Strong category management skills which include conducting opportunity analysis, supplier competitive landscape, supplier selection, supplier management, process optimization and execution of agreements.

- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to implement and manage effective supplier relationships, identify and implement opportunities/processes to influence improvement in service, quality, delivery, and cost and optimal payment terms.

- Acts as a project lead as part of a team on various projects to ensure Procurement goals are met.

Preferred Qualification :

- 4+ years of experience in category management, demand planning and pricing initiatives

- Demonstrated ability to think and act strategically

- Understanding of current market conditions demonstrated ability to drive savings using different category strategies

- Well-developed understanding of ecommerce industry. Strong influencing skill to persuade and close the deals

- Demonstrated ability to effectively interact in a cross-functional environment with all levels of executive management
