The Buying Manager position is for a passionate customer and category advocate with proven analytical capabilities and project management skills, great attention to detail, and the ability to effectively prioritize and multi-task with a proven record of driving category growth.
- Handling the relationship with key suppliers/brands/partners in the region
- Managing business to drive GMV and margins by effective and informed decisions made through market intelligence and competition analysis.
- Handle the product PLC and align with the marketing team to drive the sales and product turnover.
- Responsible for selection of new brands and on-boarding with a focus on assortment improvement.
- Accountable for the inventory KPIs such as days of stock and aging and inventory health of top SKUs.
- Driving operational excellence in managing Fill-rates and supplier payments by regulating the credit and payment schedule.
- Analyzing market trends and lead category growth at the regional level.
