Noon - Category Manager - Private Label

Key Job Responsibilities :
- Determines the buying requirements and formulates buying plan and budget for the assigned brand/category, based on the analysis of the historical trends and future forecasts
- Create buying plans to ensure profitability by maintaining and building consumer focused brand/category lines and managing SKU performance and efficiency
- Track and evaluate brand/category sales performance, market sales trends and competitor trading activities to identify critical business factors and proposed action plans to increase sales and profitability
- Consolidates and analyzes actual sales results to plan and forecast in-season sales/inventories on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis to drive sales, bottom-line profitability and inventory targets to meet or exceed financial goals
- Ensures identification of buying opportunities to source products and to ensure that business unit maintains its competitive edge by constant renegotiation
- Proactively drive sourcing activities in collaboration with stakeholders to complete procurement objectives.
- Strong category management skills which include conducting opportunity analysis, supplier competitive landscape, supplier selection, supplier management, process optimization and execution of agreements.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to implement and manage effective supplier relationships, identify and implement opportunities/processes to influence improvement in service, quality, delivery, and cost and optimal payment terms.
- Evaluation of contracts to drive continuous value to business. Interface with Legal in reviewing and recommending changes to proposed contracts.
- Acts as a project lead as part of a team on various projects to ensure Procurement goals are met.
- Strive towards continuous vendor improvement and increasing the brand partnerships
