Our client is one of the leading housing finance company with a strong platform on green and affordable sustainable housing business. It has one of the biggest set up in energy saving, environment friendly technology enabled fintech platform in the affordable housing segment with a focus on green housing.

Job Description :

- As a part of the Board members, this will be a role of Independent Director where you will be responsible for

- Act as independent advisor to the company in developing strategy through external experience, and expertise

- Oversee the activity of executive partners and help to ensure that they meet their objectives

- Oversee that the responsibilities towards stakeholders are consistently fulfilled

- Responsible, as part of the board, for developing frameworks and controls for accessing and regulating risks

- Actively participate in committee meetings and execute her duties as a committee member

The Successful Applicant :

- Candidate with 20-25+ years work experience in green housing with institutes like ADB, IDB, UN projects in energy saving housing, green sustainable housing and

- The incumbent should have an exposure to ESG, climate change, and the fintech environment.

- Preference will be given to someone who has worked in sustainable sector, exposure to climate change, ESG, green technology

- Background from the non-financial sector works as well, but someone with a background in the financial service sector will be a good fitment

- Someone who has worked with Institutions like ADB, UN project, IDB will be a likeable fitment for the role ( worked overseas and now currently in India)
