This is a high impact & critical role within the Finance team, which entails components of accounts receivable, accounts payable, project tracking. This is a team manager role with managing 68-member team. The person will be responsible for handling end-to-end accounting for various entities across India, Singapore and Dubai geographies.


Key Responsibilities:


1. Accounts Payable: Oversee the accounts payable function, ensuring timely processing of vendor invoices and payments.


- Validate and reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies as necessary. o Prepare and maintain reports on accounts payable metrics.


- Ensure provision for expenses at the end of the month for services consumed and periodic follow up for invoices.


2. Banking & Treasury:


- Manage daily banking operations, including cash flow monitoring and bank reconciliations.


- Support treasury functions, including cash management and investment activities.


- Prepare cash forecasts and analyse cash position to optimize liquidity.


3. Fixed Asset Management:


- Maintain fixed asset register, ensuring accurate tracking of asset acquisitions, disposals, and depreciation.


- Coordinate periodic physical asset counts and reconcile with financial records.


- Prepare reports on fixed asset utilization and impairment assessments.


- Ensure accurate depreciation and amortization accounting at the end of the month.


- Monitoring of CWIP and ensuring timely capitalization of the fixed assets & monitoring.


4. Intercompany Accounting:


- Handle intercompany transactions, ensuring accurate and timely billing and settlement between entities.


- Assist in the preparation of intercompany reconciliations and resolve any discrepancies.


- Support the consolidation process by ensuring proper accounting treatment of intercompany balances.


5. Team Monitoring and Training:


- Oversee and mentor junior accounting staff, providing guidance on best practices and procedures.


- Conduct training sessions to enhance team members' skills in accounting processes and software.


- Monitor team performance and provide constructive feedback to support professional development.


6. Compliance management


- Ensure TDS and GST compliance are met including computation of liability, offset of input and ensuring timely

payment of dues.


- Ensuring liability reported to authorities are in line in with the numbers as per books.


- Ensure timely filing of TDS returns and sharing form16 to the vendors.


- Ensure timely filing of GST returns- monthly/ annual.


- Identification of GST credit not reflected in portal against invoices received and follow up with vendors for the same.


- Providing responses for TDS/ GST notices as and when received and track for closure.


- Keeping abreast of applicable regulatory developments and ensuring due compliance of the same.


Qualifications:


- Professional qualification - CA/ CPA.


- 5+ of relevant experience in finance and accounting roles.


- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.


- Proficient in accounting software and MS Excel.


- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.


- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.


- Ability to handle a team.


- A hands-on, results-oriented mindset with a willingness to get involved in all aspects of the role.
