Job Title: Strategic Sourcing Manager

Position Summary:
This position is responsible for working with Development, Production, Quality, and finance Team to understand support required and develop corporate strategies to cater to the requirements. You will be working on implementing those corporate strategies to establish global and local sourcing channels and supply bases.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Component lifecycle management, formulate strategy for replacements/alternates.
2. Strategize process for new product development and localization of sources.
3. Contract negotiation with Vendors/suppliers to ensure uninterrupted supply and to manage conflicts.
4. Review or update supply chain practices in accordance with new or changing environmental policies, standards, regulations, or laws.
5. Monitor supplier performance to assess ability to meet quality and delivery requirements.
6. Ability to develop a vendor base for New products & Risk management existing vendor base.
7. Monitor supplier performance to assess ability to meet quality and delivery requirements.
8. Participate in the coordination of engineering changes, product line extensions, or new product launches to ensure orderly and timely transitions in material or production flow.
9. Design or implement supply chains that support business strategies adapted to changing market conditions, new business opportunities, or cost reduction strategies.
10. Manage activities related to strategic or tactical purchasing, material requirements planning, inventory control, warehousing, or receiving.
11. Should be able to handle domestic and cross border logistics including custom clearance events.
Job Requirements:
Education:
1. BE/BTech in Electronics/Electrical/Instrumentation from Tier 1 or Tier 2 Engineering college
2. Masters or Specialization in Supply Chain Management will be an added advantage
Experience: 3 to 6 years of relevant experience in Strategic Sourcing
Technical Knowledge:
1. Must have experience in procurement of semiconductors and electronic items.
2. Experience in dealing with EMS.
3. Strong communication skills.
4. Experience with data analytics and required tools
5. Experience of working on ERP tools, MS dynamics or SAP
