Position Summary:
Area Sales Manager is accountable for day-to-day interactions with the channel partners, hospitals key decision makers etc., to generate leads and closing them, achieving the quarterly and annual business goals. He/she is also accountable for supporting after sales team and field service engineers by maintaining customer relationships. He / she will also be responsible for establishing and managing local Key Opinion Leader (KOL) relationships with positive company messaging and progressive thinking.
An Area Sales Manager is crucial for the on-ground presence of the company to generate revenue as well as for gaining the market insights demographically.
Key Responsibilities:
- Onboarding, Supporting, and training new Sales Channel partners alongside Maintaining and growing Current Sales channel partner(s) to drive Business expansion in the region.
- Being on the road, developing relationships with existing customers whilst unearthing new opportunities and providing comprehensive Voice of Customer to inform internal stakeholders of market trends and condition
- Driving and achieving the quarterly and annual business goals (revenue and other KPIs) with your team
- Leveraging centrally generated insights with account level research to disrupt customer thinking and drive to action
- Navigating customer stakeholder consensus across clinical, financial and administrative roles to coach through the buying process by identifying individuals most likely to take action and exert internal influence
- Establishing and managing local Key Opinion Leader (KOL) relationships with positive company messaging and progressive thinking
- Recruiting, hiring, onboarding, coaching, and developing Sales and Application support professionals in alignment with commercial strategy
- Cascading and championing organizational goals across teams, functions, and company
- Developing and delivering on monthly and quarterly forecasts while maintaining compliance and accuracy
- Collaborating and partnering with internal functions to drive business (marketing, human resources, finance, branding)
- Maintaining and building on industry and marketplace knowledge including, but not limited to attending and participating in industrial trade shows, exhibitions, product training sessions and similar meetings.
- Governs team's expenses to ensure fiscal responsibility as mandated by Noccarc's Travel and Expense Policy
- Maintain company standards involving ethical and moral character while professionally representing Noccarc
- Complies with Noccarc's Code of Conduct, all company policies, rules, procedures, and administrative standards
Key Relationships :
- Building and maintaining key relationships with the End Customer, Channel Partners, Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs).
Job Requirements:
Education & Experience
- MBA in Marketing or equivalent with 5 or more years' experience in Sales of Medical equipment, i.e., Respicare equipment (Ventilators, HFNC's, BIPAP, CPAP), Diagnostic Imaging equipment, MATC equipment (Patient Monitors, Defibrillators, ECG Machines etc.).
- Bachelor's degree and 10 or more years' experience in Sales of Medical equipment, i.e., Respiratory Segment (Ventilators, HFNC's, BIPAP, CPAP), Diagnostic Imaging equipment, Critical care equipment (Patient Monitors, Defibrillators, ECG Machines etc.).
- People who have dealt with Respiratory Medical Equipment will be preferred.
Technical Knowledge:
- Proficient level of computer skills including MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook.
- Excellent analytical, interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to communicate complex Clinical and technical issues in an easy-to-understand manner.
- Working Knowledge of Sales CRM like Salesforce, MS Dynamics 365 or others.
