- As a Category Manager at NoBroker HR, you will take ownership of the overall strategy and growth of your category in the Bengaluru region.
- You will drive demand and supply, optimize category offerings, ensure quality, and collaborate across teams to deliver a high-growth, high-NPS business.
- This role requires strong analytical skills, a hands-on approach, and the ability to adapt to dynamic market conditions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute the category strategy for the city/region, focusing on growth, product/service offerings, and quality (NPS/Ratings).
- Drive supply addition in the city, ensuring high-quality supply to meet demand efficiently.
- Create and manage structures to monitor business metrics at daily, weekly, and monthly levels, ensuring consistent growth and performance.
- Collaborate with support functions, such as marketing, procurement, and customer experience teams, to achieve desired outcomes.
- Negotiate, source vendors, and optimize offerings to reduce costs and improve margins.
- Work closely with trainers and category associates to empower teams and ensure business success.
- Act as the voice of the customer, leveraging feedback and insights to drive continuous improvements.
- Collaborate with product development, tech, and operations teams to implement cross-functional initiatives.
Who We're Looking For:
Experience:
- 1-3 years in startups, especially in home services, consumer-tech, or hyper-local e-commerce marketplaces.
- Experience in the beauty and wellness business is a plus.
- Demonstrated ability to manage small teams and operate in a sizeable geography.
Skills:
- Strong data analysis and visualization skills to derive insights and communicate effectively with management and - teams.
- Proven problem-solving abilities using structured thinking and first-principle approaches.
- Hands-on experience in a 0-1 phase startup environment or a strong willingness to adapt to it
