Job Description:
Role:
- To Lead Sales team in North 1 Region to meet and exceed their Annual Sales Target.
North 1 Region comprises Delhi, NCR, J&K, Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh & Himachal Pradesh, Build strong processes to drive In Market Excellence.
Responsibilities:
- To achieve and exceed the assigned sales target for the Region.
- To lead, coach and mentor a team of Area Sales Managers, Territory Managers and Frontline Sales Force.
- Shall be responsible for assessment, planning and enhancement of Distribution infrastructure.
- Build appropriate distribution network.
- Handle multiple sales-channels, i.e: Retail, Stand Alone Modern Trade, Wholesale, Super Stockist Network, Surgical wholesale and ensure monthly increasing revenues and product placement.
- Create a realistic sales forecast for the Region on a monthly/Quarterly basis
- Manage BTL planning when required to do so
- Establishing ties with Distributors and Trade partners.
- Conduct timely and structured review of the team
- Analyze sales data and make decisions based on them
- Must be able to provide concise, accurate and relevant reports and initiate action based on those reports.
- Travel and visit the customers and channel partners across the Region. Work in the market at least 14 days in a month
Education Qualification required
- Post-Graduation in Management / MBA in Sales and Marketing specialization preferred.
Key Skills and Attitude Required
- Ability to lead a large FMCG Sales Team
- Sales Forecasting and Planning
- Very high comfort with Sales Data Analysis
- Coverage planning
- Problem solving attitude
- Ability to work in fast changing dynamic category & company environment
- Huge hunger for expansion and sales growth.
- High achievement orientation
Experience:
- Post MBA with 14+ years of experience in FMCG/OTC (Preferably in Personal Care)
- Non-MBA can be considered if they have relevant experience
- Should be leading a team of 3-4 Area Sales Managers for min 4-5 years.
- Should have worked in at least 50% of the geography to be handled
