We are looking for a Deputy Training Program Manager who will be responsible for managing the
design, development, and delivery of training programs and initiatives across the organization.
As an individual contributor, you will oversee the end-to-end management of training initiatives, ensuring they meet organizational goals and drive employee development.
You will work closely with internal stakeholders, manage timelines\and ensure the successful execution of learning solutions.
This role is ideal for someone who is hands-on, proactive, and skilled in managing all aspects of training programs without direct reports.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Training Program Design & Development:
- Lead the creation and design of comprehensive training programs, including technical, leadership, and soft skills courses.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) to develop content that addresses the specific needs of various departments and teams.
- Ensure the training content aligns with business goals, compliance standards, and the learning needs of employees.
Project Management:
- Manage the full lifecycle of training programs and initiatives, including planning, execution, and post-delivery evaluation.
- Develop project timelines, milestones, and deliverables for training initiatives, ensuring that all tasks are completed on schedule.
- Work with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful rollout of programs across the organization.
Stakeholder Communication & Collaboration
- Partner with department heads, HR, and senior leaders to identify training needs and align programs with business objectives.
- Provide regular updates to key stakeholders on the status of training programs, including challenges, successes, and adjustments.
- Gather feedback from participants and stakeholders to continuously improve training programs.
Training Delivery & Coordination:
- Oversee the delivery of training through various formats, including virtual, in- person, and e-learning platforms.
- Manage logistics such as scheduling, materials preparation, and participant communications.
Program Evaluation & Improvement:
- Track and analyze key performance metrics (e. , completion rates, feedback scores, and post-training performance improvements).
- Collect and review participant feedback to assess the effectiveness of training programs and identify areas for improvement.
- Implement iterative changes based on evaluation data to improve program outcomes.
Learning Technologies and Tools
- Work with Learning Management Systems (LMS) to manage course registration, tracking, and reporting.
- Leverage e-learning tools and platforms to develop or deliver digital training solutions.
- Stay current on new trends and technologies in training and development to incorporate innovative solutions
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's/Master's degree from any field of Education, Human Resources, Organizational Development, or related field.
- 4+ years of experience in managing corporate training programs, learning projects, or related roles.
- Strong experience in designing and implementing training solutions across multiple formats (in-person, virtual, e-learning).
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and other e-learning tools.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to assess program effectiveness and drive continuous improvement
- Proficient with advanced excel
Preferred Skills:
- Bachelor's/Master's degree from Human Resources, Organizational Development, or related field
- Experience in managing training initiatives in a specific industry (e.g , technology, healthcare, finance).
- Familiarity with adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies
