Years of Experience: At least 2+ years professional experience with sales & marketing in Automotive sector. Preferred sales & marketing experience with OEMs like TATA, Ashok Leyland, Mahindra will be preferred. Rivigo, OLA, Redbus can be considered as well
Desired experience:
- Bachelors/Master's degree from premier institute
- Worked with large OEMs (TATA, Ashok Leyland, Mahindra) in Automotive sector preferably with large commercial vehicle segment (OLA, Uber, Rivigo, Redbus)
- Brand management experience
- Strong relationship building skills
- Deal experience of identifying and onboarding Distributors with large turnovers across India
- Managed large set of accounts or territory with category presence pan India - instead large set of accounts or territory
- Exposure to Proposals formulation, Bid Management, Tender specking. Advanced Excel & PowerPoint abilities
Job description
- Acquire new customers - institutional & private operators - in given sales territory/zone. Must have - hunter- mentality
- Regular interactions with state transport undertakings (STUs) and other relevant government authorities
- Pipeline management with prospective customer on monthly/weekly basis
- Ensure Target achievement for the number/revenue/onboarding
- Development and execution of the project win strategy, value proposition and key customer contact plans
- Accountable for documenting and following-up on project information to BD function & senior leadership with supporting analysis to make appropriate business decisions
- Constant liaising with relevant bodies to oversee smooth execution of projects
- Maintain and develop both the customer base and contacts within existing customers
- Identify and rope in operators/franchisees/master distributor in different geographies and ensure their investment commitment
- Be eyes & ears of organization on ground related to product requirements from STUs
