Responsibilities
- Leading Retail expansion for Group-direct Management of one city
- Create and execute high-growth marketing campaigns.
- This is a field role that requires intra-city travel to meet prospects.
- Allocating leads, tracking and monitoring the work of each team member along with ensuring the efficiency and effectiveness of their work.
- Allocating targets to the Business Development Team.
- Hiring and retaining Business Development managers for the area by being approachable.
- Acquiring and managing critical client accounts which have a higher degree of complexity in terms of client servicing.
- Liaise with immediate team and wider company pillars to ensure collaboration and understanding across the business.
- Find new partnerships, both large and small, with a focus on growing the customer base.
- Create and maintain the marketing plan, ensuring continual improvement using hard data.
Requirements
- The person must have strong sales experience and should have demonstrated ability to build strong executive connections, build relationships and work with delivery to ensure customer satisfaction.
- An MBA from a Top B school with 3-5 years total experience in the FMCG industry, must have a team leading experience in sales role, wherein the person has anchored a regional B2C Sales team.
- Entrepreneurial character with strong organizational and communication skills
- Possess extensive knowledge of sales principles and practices, and an ability to coach others on them
- Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams
- Strength in problem solving, issue-resolution, ability to work in a deadline-driven work environment, attention to detail, and ability to multitask.
