Basic Responsibilities: -
1. Conduct business performance deep dives to identify and size opportunities for growth and efficiency
2. Create ad hoc impact analysis for category managers to understand and execute various projects
3. Analyze raw data: assessing quality, cleansing, structuring for downstream processing
4. Design accurate and scalable Pricing algorithms
5. Collaborate with engineering team to bring analytical prototypes to production
6. Generate actionable insights for business improvements
7. Perform business analysis, market analysis and support managerial decision making.
8. Must be a self-starter and should work with minimal direction
Skills & Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in quantitative field (Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, etc.)
- At least 1 - 2 years of experience in quantitative analytics or data modelling
- Deep understanding of predictive modelling, machine-learning, clustering and classification techniques and algorithms
- Fluency in SQL
- Preferred fluency in a programming language (Python, C++, Java etc.)
- Highly proficient in Microsoft; Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
