The Role:


Youll work collaborate closely with the Nissan Business Leadership team and technology leads and development teams. You will be responsible for defining and leading product/features and be accountable for the successful definition, development, and implementation of the product. You will work closely with the technology team leads and contribute in development in-line with the functional requirements.


Responsibilities:


Business Analyst will develop, optimize, and maintain the product backlog and roadmap. The primary responsibilities include:


- Willing to take ownership of the product on both strategic and tactical approach


- Responsible for gathering and prioritizing product and business requirements, defining the product vision, and working closely with software development and global business teams for delivering product goals


- Manage the software development life cycle, from planning and prioritizing to testing and release.


- Gathering system and user requirements, designing solutions in Aras product and testing features before release


- Hands-on experience developing software with agile methodologies and have lead junior developers


- Responsible for defining the new features in conjunction with the product management and providing required specifications.


- Demonstrates sound business and process knowledge and judgment.


- Experience with Auto manufacturers or distributors or retailers or suppliers preferred.


Skills and Qualifications:


The candidate should have the following skills sets:


- B.E. in Mechanical or Computer or related field with experience of 4-7+ years


- Define and analyse business value of a product and functional and technical success metrics of a product.


- Demonstrated aptitude for analytics. Exceptional analytical and quantitative problem-solving skills


- Ability to work effectively with people at all levels in an internal or external organization.


- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and across functions.


- Automobile domain knowledge is an added advantage.


- Execute projects in Agile methodology and should be hands-on with scrum development process.


- Hands-on experience with JIRA


- Hands on experience one at least one of ALM (Application Lifecycle Management), PLM (Product Life Cycle), Software BOM Management, MBSE domain is required.


- Support adhoc requests from business users and delegate based on team members


- Experience in Business analysis, process design, application specification (reports, function, UI), conversion analysis, and user testing.


- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.


- Strong analytical skills, including a thorough understanding of how to interpret customer business needs and translate them into application and operational requirements.


- Should have working knowledge of creating functional requirements including and not limited to Use Case models, Activity diagrams, Data Flow diagrams, User flows and Data Modelling.


- Ability to quickly learn applications and connect the application functions to the business context.


- Ability to interact with customer executives, senior management, managers, architects, developers, quality assurance engineers, subject matter experts, and other software team members in geographically dispersed environments.


- Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment; conform to shifting priorities, demands and timelines.


- Solid understanding of all aspects of the software project lifecycle and release process.
