AVP-Accounts Role: AVP/ Manager - Accounts Job Description: The expectation from this role is for the candidate to be able to oversee and manage all the functions of the entire accounts department. This role will report into the Head of Finance. Primary focus will be on the following: 1. Experience in handling accounts, compliance and payroll 2. Preparation of monthly, quarterly, annual financial statements & MIS and related financial docs for reporting to the management 3. Handling Statutory, internal audits independently 4. Experience in DD audits/PE reporting (preferable) 5. ETDS/ income tax deductions and issuing Form 16As Requirements: This is a great opportunity for the right person to learn and grow, in an entrepreneurial setting. Start date is immediate. Requirements for this role include: - Qualified CA with 6+ years of experience in a corporate accounting team of an NBFC/ Fintech - Must have previous work experience in an NBFC - Experience in a PE funded company is an advantage - In-depth understanding of accounting practices and policies - Meticulous attention to detail with zero tolerance to errors - Ability to multitask and work fast under a high paced growth environment - High levels of ownership, ability to work independently under guidance, proactive - Strong organization and time management skills - Must be a team player and be able to mentor and build a team as needed
