- Creating guidelines that define the company's voice, both online and offline (including terminology and slogans)
- Maintaining and enhancing customer engagement, customer retention, spend per customer, and other metrics;
- Performing market research to understand consumer trends & preferences and to identify new opportunities and challenges
- Building and managing a high-performing marketing team to execute both offline and online marketing strategies, thereby providing support to achieve the business objectives;
- Defining and implementing marketing strategies in alignment with the overall business plan and objectives, in collaboration with sales, R&D, commercials, and operations;
- Leading and managing PR/Advertising agencies to achieve the desired success by defining their roles and deliverables;
- Tracking and understanding the competitor activities and devising an action plan to counter & gain market share from initiatives like product development/launches, pricing placement, and marketing activities;
- Experimenting with a variety of organic and paid acquisition channels like content creation, content curation, pay-per-click campaigns, event management, publicity, social media, lead generation campaigns, copywriting, and performance analysis;
- Building strategic relationships with external third parties in the marketing domain to ensure long-term business success;
- Optimizing costs for all marketing and branding efforts to set benchmarks in the industry
- Setting up marketing technologies to monitor the campaign's effectiveness and CAC.
Skillset Required:
- A leader with both creative and analytical skills
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to manage and collaborate with different stakeholders
- A result-oriented go-getter with a drive to deliver results that surpass expectations
- Good with numbers to understand and plan marketing budgets & spending that aligns with the business goals
- Demonstrable experience in developing efficient strategies and business plans for all marketing aspects (branding, product promotion, etc.)
- Proven experience in leading and delivering results in digital and non-digital channels of marketing & communication
- Being agile in an ever-changing market and always staying a step ahead
- A thorough understanding of the market and how the market trends directly influence customer needs or vice versa
- Strategic and tactical skills with the ability to lead teams to a quick turn-around with all the available data like big data, website metrics, marketing spends, point of purchase, etc., and small data that comes from insights into customer behavior and response
- Prior experience with an understanding of sales will be an add on
You will be responsible for strategizing and executing an elevated customer and brand experience by leading the brand building, managing marketing communications, and marketing technology, including social media, digital, and offline marketing channels.
In addition, the role would involve overseeing the planning, development, and execution of the organization's marketing & brand strategy and advertising initiatives. Reporting directly to the CEO/CBO, you will work towards establishing Nirmalaya as the leading fragrance brand in the Natural/Organic Fragrance Market both domestically & globally and supporting revenue generation by aiding sales through varied marketing initiatives.
It involves ownership of growth strategies and the customer experience across all brand touchpoints.
