Ninjacart is India's Largest Agri marketing platform, solving one of the toughest supply chain problems through technology. We connect vegetables and fruits farmers directly with businesses. At one end, we help farmers get better prices and deal with consistent demand and on another end, we help retailers to source fresh vegetables at competitive prices directly from farmers. We do this effectively at lower cost, better speed and larger scale using integrated supply chain powered by technology, data science, infrastructure, and logistics network.
We move one 150 Tonnes of vegetables from farm to 2200+ retailers on daily basis within 12 hours in Bangalore and Chennai. We are 600 people company. We work with 3000+ farmers. We aim to grow to 1000 tonnes of daily volumes in the next 18 months.

As a City HR Manager, you would manage, create, implement and supervise policies/regulations, which are mandatory for every employee and also have knowledge of its appropriate functioning.
Responsibilities :
- Ability to understand business goals and recommend new approaches, policies, and procedures to effect continual improvements in business objectives, productivity, and development of HR within the company
- Manpower Planning : Has to have a concrete database of how many employees are currently active and how many more are required per department
- Attrition : Has to understand the reasons for employee attrition and come up with new/innovative strategies that can help in reducing the current attrition rate
- Training : Has to ensure that the new employees undergo the training process without any hustle and get the best set of training skills
- Performance Management : Has to keep a track of the performance of all the active employees and come with new ways through which the low performers can improve
- Employee Engagement : Has to understand the current organisational culture and come up with some activities/innovative ideas which makes the employees feel a part of an organisational family. A true hands-on approach as well as the ability to successfully monitor the - pulse- of employees to ensure a high level of employee engagement
- Designing Incentives : Has to design the incentive plan policy( monthly, quarterly and yearly) for the active employees
- Policy Implementation : Has to understand the current policies of the organisation and come up with new policies that can take the organisation a step ahead
- HR Operations/Compliance : Has to have a good knowledge of labour laws and resolve the compliance issues
