About the Team:

The Modern Trade (HORECA) vertical at Ninjacart is focused on the farm to HORECA business of procuring from farmers and delivering to HORECA Channels ensuring that farmers get paid the right price for their efforts and our customers are able to get market quality produce delivered at their doorsteps. The last mile distribution is handled by us based out of our Fulfillment Centers. As a part of the team, you will be in charge of managing the entire Business Pnl Handling for the assigned territory. For this, you will need to handle a team of KAMs, Distribution Partner Managers, Category, Procurement and Delivery ops managers driving Tonnage, Customer Acquisition and Retention, On time deliveries and fill rates, key growth initiatives and profitability metrics.The Distributor Partners are responsible for handling the cash Collection whereas the order taking and deliveries will be handled by our team.

Responsibilities:

- Driving, handling & monitoring the entire Sales, Category, Procurement & Distribution for the assigned territory

- Owning the PnL of the territory - Owning Volumes, Revenue & PnL of the assigned territory

- Own the Expansion and scale up strategy for HORECA channel

- New account/customer acquisition & competition benchmarking

- Continuous monitoring & improvement of Salesforce and ops efficiency

- Continuous improvement on customer metrics and experience within the defined TAT

- Coordinating with the multiple stakeholders (Category/Operations/Product/ Analytics/ Finance/ HR etc.,) to continuously improve the P&L for the assigned Territory/Zone/Area

- MBA with 4 to 6 years of relevant experience in Category/Sales & Distribution with mid-large size teams in FMCG Sector/Fresh business/early stage B2B start-ups with an established field sales structure

- Proven track record in HORECA/MT Sales, Business development, Owning Volumes, - Revenue & PnL of the assigned territory

- Prior experience in handling 0 to 1 businesses is a plus

- Should be fluent in Telugu, English
