Role : Pre Sales Consultant - Network Infrastructure
Salary: 6-8 LPA
Job Description :
Objective / Purpose of duty :
- Drive the comprehensive consulting and pre-sales activities for large multi-technology infrastructure projects. Work with the sales team to meet Clients requirements and expectations.
Main responsibilities :
- Complete Consulting activities, which includes, requirement gathering, building complex solution architectures, standalone consultancy service (large bids consulting) preparing consulting proposals, competition analysis, demonstrating the technology and products as required, preparing the scope of work, and interacting with project teams providing guidance and technical inputs.
Demand generation :
- Analyze client technical and business requirements
- Analyze architectures and designs
- Lead and conduct technology workshops & assessments for various leading network infrastructure technologies
- Proactive engagement with client in designing the tender specs, BOM and PQ criteria.
Pre-Sales activities :
- Lead and implement a technology Proof of Concept (PoC) for various LOB technologies.
- Provide a Level of Effort and Basis of Estimate for complex deployments
- Lead and create Technical Proposals for clients.
- Ascertaining technical feasibility to customer requirements and actively participate in the bid process (Responding to bids/RFP/RFQ/Tender etc.), participate in pre-bid meetings & own proposals to be delivered in line with the customer needs and budgets.
- Lead and participate in consulting engagements for Nikom's Clients.
- Perform in an Advisory Services role for Nikom's clients
- Implement best practices of respective OEMs for consulting engagements.
- Adopt the leading assessments and consulting practices to deliver standalone services projects.
- Create document deliverables for Nikom's clients
Desired Candidate Profile :
Industry : IT-Hardware & Networking
Qualification :
- B. E / B. Tech in Electronics/Telecommunications computer science or equivalent degree in IT related field.
- CCDA/ CCNA/ CCDP/ CCNP/ CCIE preferable
Experience :
Minimum 5 to 7 years over-all experience with minimum 3 to 5 years in pre-sales/consulting role handling Complex multi-technology projects in Enterprise / Commercial / Public Sector verticals.
- Hands on Implementation Experience 2-3 years
- Client Facing/Pre-sales/Consulting Experience 3-5 years
Knowledge, skills, and abilities required :
- Proven track record of imparting consulting to Enterprise / Commercial / PSU clients and driving large multi-technology solution bids with end-to-end ownership
- Good knowledge of networks, security, unified communication and data center infrastructure solutions
- Knowledge of leading best practices architectures and methodologies in the technology infrastructure integration domain.
- Good verbal and written communications and presentation skills
- Demonstrate an aptitude for assimilation of new technologies and solutions.
- Independently handle all consulting related activity and assist sales organization in driving the medium & large consulting opportunities.
- Preferable knowledge in competition products across networks, security and data center solutions.
- Should have worked in similar capacity in earlier organizations.
