Role Overview:
The Key Accounts Head at NIIT will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive sales strategy that aligns with the company's growth objectives. This role involves driving revenue, expanding market share, and enhancing the performance of the sales team. The ideal candidate should be adept at understanding market dynamics, customer needs, and fostering strong relationships with clients, partners, and internal stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Strategy & Planning:
- Develop and implement a robust sales strategy to drive revenue growth across all product lines and services.
- Identify market opportunities and target segments to achieve business expansion objectives.
- Set ambitious but achievable sales targets and create action plans to meet those targets.
Team Leadership & Development:
- Lead, mentor, and manage the sales team across regions to ensure optimal performance.
- Build a high-performance sales culture that focuses on customer satisfaction, accountability, and continuous learning.
- Monitor team performance, provide feedback, and drive improvements in sales techniques.
Revenue Generation & Market Expansion:
- Collaborate with marketing and product teams to develop competitive pricing models, promotions, and customer engagement plans.
- Build relationships with key decision-makers in target markets, securing long-term business partnerships.
- Ensure proper follow-up on leads and convert them into long-term customers.
Customer Engagement & Relationship Management:
- Manage high-level client relationships, ensuring customer satisfaction and fostering repeat business.
- Lead the effort to understand customer needs and tailor solutions to meet those needs.
- Act as the point of escalation for key customer issues and ensure their resolution.
Market Analysis & Reporting:
- Track and analyze sales performance metrics, market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments.
- Prepare regular sales reports and forecasts for senior leadership.
- Use data-driven insights to adjust strategies for market dynamics.
Key Skills & Competencies:
- Proven track record in sales leadership, with experience in B2B sales in the education, technology, or training sectors.
- Strong business acumen with the ability to identify and capitalize on market opportunities.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to lead a diverse, geographically dispersed sales team and inspire them to meet aggressive goals.
- Strong analytical and decision-making skills, with experience using CRM tools and sales analytics platforms.
- Customer-focused mindset with a deep understanding of customer relationship management.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in the education, technology, or corporate training industries is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in digital sales tools and platforms.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment
