Role Description:
Designation: Client Business Partner
Purpose of the role:
- To create and grow long term client engagement/relationships across multiple functions within the client organization
- To deliver an amazing experience for the client
- To understand client strategic business priorities and align Nielsen assets to deliver against them through consultative selling
- Drive actionable recommendations that are aligned to client business issues
- Responsibly advocate the voice of the client to drive change within Nielsen
Main Accountabilities:
Develop Client Relationships:
- Lead the business relationship between Nielsen and our clients
- Drive collaborative one voice engagements to solve client business issues
- Penetration of senior decision makers across clients functional teams
- Contributes to Strategic Account Planning process and vision for client
- Set Nielsen’s go to market strategy for the client
- Proactively resolve client issues by engaging other Nielsen support groups as needed
- Actively participate at Client business planning and senior engagement meetings with understanding and purpose
Drive Team Performance
- Direct the day to day work of continuous team members
- Support coaching, mentoring, and development of client team, including continuous members
- Drive actionable recommendations that are aligned to client business issues
Revenue:
- Responsible for overall revenue targets including renewal and fulfillment of contracted revenue
- Identify revenue growth opportunities and coordinate business development effort
Cost Leadership:
- Manages contract negotiation process with client(s) to ensure profitable outcomes
- Partners with continuous leaders to identify opportunities for optimization and efficiency
- Support the implementation of cost leadership solutions across team

Skills Requirement:
- Minimum 5-10 years account management experience
- Consultative experience
- Well-developed knowledge of CPG industry, both manufacturer and retailer
- Team leadership experience
