Job Code - T4, Banking & Treasury

Role Description:

The Treasury Specialist( Specialist / Sr. Specialist, is responsible to complete the treasury and banking related tasks with respect to funding, cash flow assurance, drawing/fund utilisation as as per credit facilities, lease agreements and feasibility evaluation from a treasury and cost of financing perspective, coordinate and assuring a single of point of contact for bank relationship for both internal and face the Bankers customer care/relationship departments .

Key Tasks:

Manage short term cash and debt forecasts.

Review and determine how to use the fund drawing facilities available to the group on a daily basis.

Determine the payment schedules and take decision on specific payment releases/defer.

Manage intercompany fund requirements as per cash forecast.

Determine the loan needs, loan period, and interest rate validation, determine the cost of loan and confirm the loan balances.

Track and maintain the interest schedules, loan movements and produce adhoc reports based on the management needs.

Monitor and produce analytical and compliance report the use of debt facilities under different loan baskets .

Determine the currency positions by analysing the fund availability and requirements based on the cash flow analysis and decide the hedging requirements and produce monthly mark to market summary.

Co-ordinate with the external agency audit requirements to meet the debt financing agents loan conditions and manage periodic audit queries and ensure successful audit management.

Lease Finance : Evaluate the opportunities for Sales & Lease back and lease book contract funding, deal with business and lease financiers and get the details of potential lease book funding proposals, review the terms and conditions .

Manage lease operations manage lease contracts, review legal terms to ensure the conditions are as per the agreed policies within finance, evaluate the IRR lease finance charges and co-ordinate with Group Treasury Manager and Procurement to get changes authorised. Ensure the lease contracts authorised. Resolve if any complicated lease payment related issues.

Manage paperwork with the banks covering major international banks such as HSBC, RBS, Barclays, Bank of America to meet the banks mandate and legal documents. Co-ordinate with the bank to complete the KYC requests and act as a single of point of contact for all the banks queries.

Coordinate with internal / external legal advisors/lawyers and provide all the paper work relating to account opening, user set ups or approvers from different parts of geographies.

Act as a single point of contact within the Group for resolving all queries relating to any bank transactions such as co-ordinating with internal stakeholders in the business and the bank relationship /customer care departments to sort out any issues with respect to bank transactions such as a payment transmission failure.

Facilitate any changes to the bank process due to a change in banking software or system or processes and facilitate the change management within the companys user group.

Co-ordinate for setting up for new bank accounts, user accounts, authorisation keys, closure of bank accounts and manage all the relationship and communication around the banking relationship management and the group.

Experience

8+ years of experience in Finance and Accounting and thereof a minimum 3 years of experience in Treasury operations and management.

Must have strong understanding of international banking processes, systems and applications such as HSBC, RBS, Barclays and Bank of America and exposure in dealing with multi country banking and treasury processes in medium size companies.

Exposure and understanding Finance Lease process and contractual needs and lease financing options.

Exposure and understanding about currency hedging process.

Experience in managing stakeholders at senior levels in multinational companies.

Has the passion to drive aggressive targets and tight deadlines from very demanding stakeholders.

Detailed understanding of the paper works for administering the bank accounts by co-ordinating with Bank relationship/customer care departments.

Technical and process understanding about Bank transaction from a multi country banking environment.

MS office knowledge

Strong understanding of key financial processes applied in a treasury and banking processes

Have extensive experience working in or very closely with onshore reporting and analysis teams.
