Roles and Responsibilities
Prepare or deliver
The budget and forecasting process at a regional and line of business level driven by customer accounts/projects
The standard reports for products and services e,g customer P&L analysis and commentary, cash forecasts, billing forecasts, in year revenue for the accounts, change requests and upsell revenues, Cost accounting, customer account level budget vs. actual, forecast vs. actual etc.
the local review of monthly/quarterly/annual performance reporting - Regional/LoB/Customer account level
KPIs to measure business performance and performance scorecards prepared by team, Manage ad-hoc reporting requirements
perform 1st level challenge to Account Management teams on loss making accounts
Valid and accurate data points
Work with the stakeholders Account Management team, Onsite Finance Business Partners, SSC accounting team
Ensure the process documentations are updated with changes as per the plan.
Meet or exceed the stakeholder expectations and participate to all decision making/review meetings.
Ensure standard budgetary templates, plans are used across all customer accounts.
Design templates and data collection to prepare the ad-hoc management reporting requirements.
Prepare summary presentations to support the management decision making process.
Prepare order book and sales pipeline data for the responsible region/line of business and give for consolidation at group level.
Work with Account Directors to prepare the customer level project budgeting/forecasts for revenue, costs and margin.
Plan all the project level expenses and track the purchase requisitions procurement to PO and Invoice approval.
Prepare and explain the variance between Customer level budget and actuals with a business and accounting commentary.
Support the Change Request pricing process and incorporate the changes to the customer account level budget/forecasts .
Track and report accounting transaction which goes in to a customer project/LOB and co-ordinate with accounting function to determine the reason behind entries and allocations charged to projects and take decision on why and how to transfer costs from one cost centre/WBS to another cc/WBS.
Support the Business managers to understand the cost of delivery of projects and the true margin from the project.
Support the CoE Lead to evaluate the reporting and analytics requirements and to create the design definition of reports.
Prepare reporting design and requirement documentation for IT to develop new reports for Business Finance functions.
Ensure the reports are prepared using standard reporting formats across all areas in CoE.
Deliver the listed tasks or reports as per the SLA/KPIs agreed with stakeholders.
Experience
8+ years of total experience in Finance and Accounting and there of 6 years as a Business Finance partner supporting the business operations in an IT/BPO/from other service industries.
Qualification: Qualified / Semi qualified ACA/ACCA/CMA/CIMA and MBA from premier institutes.
Must have the hands on experience to perform complex Analytics and Reports.
Should have the exposure in managing complex data points.
Experience in working with mid and senior level management in a MNC company.
Has the passion to deliver aggressive targets and tight deadlines from very demanding stakeholders.
Should have the exposure to prepare the requirement documentation in order to explain the design and requirement to IT .
Expert knowledge in Revenue reporting/Project performance management areas.
Exposure in performing profit centre analysis/ revenue assurance and customer profitability analysis.
Experience in preparing the planning and budgeting processes at a customer account level preferably from an IT/BPO accounting .
Technical expertise
Should have thorough knowledge with SAP FICO/BW systems.
Exposure in Project accounting modules/tools.
Exposure with SAP BPC system will be an added advantage.
Advanced working knowledge in MS Excel and MS power point.

Have extensive experience working in or very closely with onshore reporting and analysis teams
