ABOUT THE ORGANIZATION

LOCATION - Gurgaon

QUALIFICATION PG ( M.sc./M. Tech.)in Food Technology / Chemical Engineering

EXPERIENCE

- 6-8 years of work experience in FMCG industry out of which 4-6 years of exposure in New Product Developement. Experience in R&D and production would be advantageous.

JOB PURPOSE

- To support in implementation of Nutritional Category development initiatives for the introduction of new products / packaging as per Marketing vision board by working through cross-functional team. And also to support all Operations driven projects on Nutritional category (e.g. new site commissioning / up gradation of manufacturing / packing facilities) through the formation of cross functional teams & in co-ordination with other key functions.

KEY RESPONSIBILITES

- To lead / co-ordinate all activities for SC and ensure timely implementation of Nutritional projects

- To provide inputs in the Product Development briefs on the technical feasibility, competition benchmarking options of manufacturing sites, available technologies, PTS, opportunities relevant for the introduction of new products / packaging introduction.

- To assist activities for getting business go-ahead for implementing strategic business initiatives related to new site development, relocation of existing unit to support future volume growth, meeting cGMP & EHS guidelines.

- To assist in identification & selection of new facilities / 3rd party manufacturing sites as per the business requirements.

- To assist in identification & selection of new machinery / technologies-Activities include gap analysis, organizing trials & validation, site gear-up, and documentation etc. leading to timely & successful gearing up of the facility.

- To extend support to R&D/ Other operation functions and help implement their cost reduction programs.

- To assist in new initiative in technological advancement / up gradation.

- To keep regular contact with manufacturing / packing sites for providing them the update on the development plan for introduction of new products / packs related to their sphere of operations

- To advocate inculcation of Operation Excellence as Way of Working to improve efficiency of operation & reduce waste.

- To assist Procurement in selection of equipment / machinery including finalization of prices.

MUST HAVEs

- INDUSRY TYPE- Candidates from FMCG, food and beverages need only apply

- A Technical graduate with 6-8 years exposure in food and beverage Industry - Experience in Production / R&D is advantageous.

- 4-6 years exposure in NPDs / operational background & ability to handle independent cross-functional department or functions.

- Thorough awareness of Manufacturing advancements, Packaging advancements and other statutory regulations.

- Knowledge on Budgetary, inventory control, market analysis along with working OE Knowledge.

- Cost Saving Projects ideation to execution

- Engaged in site readiness (operations and Quality systems for NPDs) in factory or 3rd party

- Should have worked in R&D at some point in his career

- Should have hands on to project
