Position: Manager-Strategic Sourcing

Experience: 7-10 years of experience in Strategic sourcing- supply chain management in the pharmaceutical industry (Note: Flexible in experience for right suitable candidate).

Qualification: M Sc (Chemistry) from reputed University having experience and associate with Strategic sourcing activities.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Develop and implement sourcing strategies for API intermediates/KSMs/Critical and other raw materials used in respective projects.

2. Identify and evaluate potential suppliers/manufacturers to ensure reliable supply of high-quality products.

3. Continuous tracking & monitoring of sources worldwide and conducts due diligence. Identify good sources for de-risking of raw materials by proposing an alternate vendor.

4. Being a Strategic Souring manager coordinates with internal stakeholders to define material, quality requirement and standards.

5. Ensuring the availability of RM/KSM/Intermediates for R&D projects as per the timelines to support R&D & Business requirements.

6. Ensuring procuring RM specifications should align with in-house specs and MOA.

7. Reviewing & monitoring the supplies/delivery timelines along with the delivery planning to align according to business priorities/expectations.

8. Planning, Monitoring & Reviewing the daily activities.

9. Regular review of pending issues/actions with team members.

10. Provide regular updates on sourcing activities to internal stakeholders.

11. Good knowledge of EU & US regulations for pharmaceuticals.

12. Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of products and efficient issue resolution.

13. Guiding & coaching team members in resolving supply issues, sourcing related issues, conflicts if any, overcome challenges.
