IT Delivery Head
Job Summary:
The IT Delivery Head is tasked with leading and managing the delivery of all IT services and projects across our technology services business. This pivotal role ensures high levels of customer satisfaction and the efficient and effective delivery of IT solutions. Collaborating closely with senior management, the IT Delivery Head aligns technology services with business goals, optimizing processes, and leveraging technology for competitive advantage.
Key Responsibilities :
- Strategic Leadership : Formulate and execute IT delivery strategies in line with organizational goals. Provide direction and leadership to the IT delivery teams.
- Project Management : Supervise the planning, execution, and delivery of IT projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and meet quality standards.
- Team Management : Lead, mentor, and develop a team of high-performing IT professionals. Promote a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Stakeholder Management : Establish and maintain robust relationships with all stakeholders, effectively communicating with clients, team members, and senior management to ensure alignment and address issues promptly.
- Process Improvement : Constantly evaluate and enhance IT delivery processes and practices for greater efficiency and effectiveness.
- Technology Oversight : Keep abreast of emerging technology trends and evaluate their potential impact on the organization. Advocate for technology solutions that support business objectives.
- Risk Management : Identify and mitigate IT delivery risks, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and standards.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Extensive experience in IT delivery management, project management, or a similar leadership role within a technology services context.
- Proven leadership capabilities and experience managing cross-functional teams.
- Demonstrated project management expertise, with a history of delivering projects on time and within budget.
- Deep understanding of IT Services, software development lifecycle (SDLC), and agile methodologies.
- Expertise on Digital transformation, web, cloud, data and digital technologies.
- Outstanding communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficient in problem-solving and analytical thinking.
- Project Management (PMP, PRINCE2) or IT Service Management (ITIL) certifications are desirable.
