We have the following openings: -

1. Petrochemical sales - 2 nos

2. Fertilizer sales - 1 no

3. Iron & Steel - 1 no

General background:

- The ideal candidate is an engineering graduate with a post-graduate qualification in Sales & Marketing and 10 -20 years experience including at least 10 years at a managerial level with responsibility for managing sales at the regional level.


- The candidate should be from engineering, manufacturing industries and have dealt with refineries, fertilizer, iron & steel, relevant engineering, and consulting companies. Should have experience in managing business development PAN India.

Role & responsibilities:

- Winning and Managing Key Accounts across various product segments

- Identifying new prospects and initiating contact for follow-up

- Establish contacts at decision making levels at customer end

- Creating RFQs, opening applications and winning large high value projects. Trace the line of hierarchy for particular project and manage the project winning process from end to end

- Attaining customer approvals for product in defined segment across middle east

- Driving sales strategies for achieving sales targets with a view to optimize revenue.

- Creating sales channel including distribution channel for market

- Conducting market research and preparing business plans by tapping relevant markets

- Conducting market analysis to keep abreast of market trends and competition.

- International trade, logistics and customs management procedures

- Developing a business development plan - targeting high potential markets and customers

- Taking client briefs and communicating clearly to Engineering/manufacturing team

- Closing deals on new business

- Preparing business proposals including developing costing and doing research where necessary

Leadership: The candidate will need to show leadership ability to drive transformational cultural change to enable the business to be regionally competitive.
