ROLE OVERVIEW:
This is a top management role and in this role, you will be expected to manage our entire operations team. The operations team is on the front lines of our patient care and are the first contact point between the patients and Netdox. They are responsible for case summary creation, coordination with the medical team and partner oncologists for report delivery and basically run the entire process. As part of this role, you will be heading our entire case management and patient relations operations.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Process Management:
- Own the entire patient interaction and consult delivery process
- Optimize the process by identifying key bottlenecks and reducing the turn-over time
- Manage the patient facing case manager operations that include patient medical data collection, the creation of medical summaries and patient follow-ups.
- Ensure strong coordination with the medical team for quality review and partner oncologists for opinion delivery.
- Establish best practices for continuous improvement in operations.
- Collaborate with tech/product management team to ensure a smooth & seamless flow of consultation process.
Metrics
- Responsible for KPIs of the entire functional unit
- Own all metrics for operations including conversation rates and turn-over time and ensure weekly/monthly reporting of the same to the founders
- Collaborate with marketing to achieve business goals.
Team Management:
- Responsible for hiring and training team members and building the entire team from ground up
- Create a comprehensive training manual and a training plan for new hires
- Set goals and define key performance metrics for all team members
- Ensure constant monitoring of performance and provide feedback.
- Do formal quarterly appraisals as well as weekly/fortnightly informal appraisals
- Ensure high motivation and morale amongst all members of the operations team.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
- Bachelors/Masters in healthcare more specifically MBBS, BDS, MD, Nursing and/or healthcare administration.
- MBA from a premier school preferably with a major in healthcare management
- Prior experience of at least 3 years working in a hospital or healthcare company as a medical administrator (GM/VP/CXO)
- Held P&L and/or Business Unit responsibilities.
- Prior experience running operations preferably in a - B to C- services company.
- Excellent writing skills and verbal skills.
Would be good to have:
- Prior experience running operations in a startup (healthcare tech or healthcare services)
- Prior consumer facing/patient facing experience.
- Experience with customer sales in healthcare domain.
