NetApp - Tax Accountant - Corporate Tax - CA

Position Overview

The candidate will be responsible for handling various tax processes of the group companies. This will include timely and accurate preparation of various files to support the tax returns and coordinating with other functions within the company to ensure all relevant information is captured.

Job Responsibilities

- Manage end-to-end tax compliance which includes corporate income tax and transfer pricing matters for various group entities

- Support in closing Statutory Audit and Internal Audit

- Drafting/review of tax returns and workings

- Timely filing of returns and payment of taxes (if any)

- Review of tax accruals and provisions

- Preparation and all support documents related to tax provision for India entities- and other related entities.

- Responding to routine ad hoc queries from Finance and liaising with external advisors and consultants wherever required

- Preparation of submissions and representation before authorities, etc.

- Maintenance of requisite documentation for future review/audits

- Assist with building reports and data hub for the tax department

- Support automation of data analytics to support tax reporting

- Improve processes by developing/implementing best tax practices

- Preparation and all support documents related to advance tax calculations for India entities and other related entities

Mandatory Qualification

- Chartered Accountant with minimum 3 -5 years- experience in tax environment

- Corporate tax and Transfer Pricing essential

- Strong global tax compliance and advisory experience preferably in IT industry including experience in managing multiple legal entities

- Strong technical skills with effective written and verbal communication skills

- Organized, analytical and methodical with strong attention to detail

- Strong computer and technology skills and proficiency with Microsoft Excel
