Neo Ogilvy - Consultant/Part Time/Freelancer - Architect

We are hiring for Architect profile. The candidate must possess the following:

1. Technically Hands-on, Prior experience with scalable Architecture.

2. Strong history managing team of Sr. engineers, engineers, and coaching and mentoring while maintaining a hands-on role with code development.

3. Experience with web technologies, PHP, Linux, Apache, MySQL, solr, memcache, redis, javascript, ajax etc.

4. Strong knowledge of PHP web frameworks Zend/ Laravel/ Yii/Cake.

5. Understanding the fully synchronous behaviour of PHP.

6. Familiarity with SQL/NoSQL databases and their declarative query languages.

7. Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git.

8. Proficient MVC and other design patterns.

9. Prior experience with EC2/Amazon Cloud Sevices.

10. Experience with high performance websites catering heavy daily traffic is a plus

11. Excellent teamwork skills, flexibility, and ability to handle multiple tasks

12. Experience and ability to bring in software engineering life cycle best practices

13. Responsible for defining and documenting architecture capturing and documenting non-functional (architectural) requirements and defining technical solutions.

14. Work with client architecture teams in - validate the non-functional requirements - discussing and providing inputs on architecture options.

15. Present the architecture and design to necessary stakeholders as required.

16. Experience in data migration.

17. Strong fundamental understanding of OOAD, UML design models and experience of working with modelling tools.

18. Agile development and estimation experience.
