Position Title with Designation : Senior Executive

Reporting : Manager/ VP - Market Watch

Reportees : None

Job Purpose : Ensuring that exchange operations i.e. daily trading system related master maintenance, systems process and monitoring are running optimally and trading is taking place effectively. Monitoring trade activities and margin of members to ensure that all are operating within the norms.

Key Accountabilities :

Daily Tasks

1. Ensuring accurate master maintenance in Trading and ancillary systems. Monitor the systems are operational and members can connect seamlessly

2. Maintenance of system Masters - Timings, Members, Users, Branch etc.

3. Monitoring action for Pay-in and Margin shortages. Action on membership compliance like Base Minimum Capital, Interest free security deposit etc.

4. Solving member's queries which are escalated by CSG

5. All activities relating to members to be executed such as new user IDs, updating system masters, resetting passwords

6. Process of new Hedge limits request and ensuring monthly compliance

7. Adding new Future and Option contracts in Trading system

8. Broadcasting message on Trading terminal and password reset of trading terminal

9. Updating Bhavcopy and various SEBI reports on exchange's website

10. Monitoring price bands and movement in international exchange

11. Monitoring Algorithm /HFT guidelines - Strategy approval, Order per second and Order Trade ratio monitoring

12. Compile and send Hourly and Daily MIS report

13. Accurately following daily checklist, operational policy and SOPs

14. Tracking websites of other commodity exchange & keeping latest update on the commodity market

Monthly Tasks :

15. Assisting in development and testing of new process/system. Participating in mock trading sessions

16. Maintenance of system files and master files as per monthly calendar

17. Non-routine reports, data request and communication with SEBI

18. Verification of periodic documents of hedgers

Profile :

Educational Qualification : Chartered Accountant / Post graduate in management from reputed university / CFA

Previous Experience : 0 - 2 years
