NCDEX - Assistant Vice President - Farmer Producer Organization Segment

Designation- AVP

Location : Jaipur/ Delhi

Job Purpose :

- To work with agriculture market ecosystem institutions; individuals and Farmer Producer Organizations (Company formed by group of Farmers) for promoting price risk management

- To Assist FPOs forging market linkages for fair price realization

- Promote corporate image in terms of security and trust

- To connect with relevant State and central Govt. institutions for policy discussions; building awareness for the Price Discovery & Price Risk Management amongst relevant stakeholders

Key Accountabilities :

1. Manage field team to ensure Organizational objectives are met; educate and encourage team for skill up gradation and track team's performance

2. Manage internal team to ensure objectives are met at a time bound manner

3. Work with all relevant private entities and government institutions to spread awareness within FPOs on importance of price risk management through

4. Connect with relevant stakeholders at state and central government and private entities promoting FPOs

5. Act as a bridge between FPOs and financial institutions whenever required for facilitating financial requirements for FPOs

Educational Qualification : Specialization in Agriculture with masters/ MBA (Agribusiness)/MBA (Normal)

Previous Experience : Min 10 years of relevant experience

Industry to be hired from : Agribusiness, Warehousing, Development Sector, NGO

Skills and Knowledge required :

Competencies :

- In depth knowledge of agri market and its ecosystem; commodity sector and services offered by value chain participants

- Good communication skills

- Proficiency in speaking languages - English, Hindi and advantage of one additional Indian local language

- Writing skill for preparing case studies; reports; and proposals

- Managing team building and leading skills

- Proactive and result oriented
