The L&D manager is responsible for designing and deploying training programs in line with organizational needs using various channels and execute L&D initiatives as agreed that enable and support our employees to achieve success in their roles.

Critical to quality parameters.

1. 13-15 years of L&D experience, with 6-8 years leading the training function independently in an IT organization

2. Must have work experience in IT industry in similar role

3. Ability to create content and deliver the same

4. Advanced skills on with MS Office - Excel, Power point

5. Excellent verbal and written communication skills

6. Communication/Soft Skills/Behavioral training experience

7. Hands-on experience in training administration and is familiar with all aspects of training execution.

Business Understanding : 

Preferred - Understand the IT business and has fair knowledge of operations and skills of the employees working in different roles.

Functional Knowledge : 

1. Demonstrated proficiency in the development of strategy, program design and implementation of learning initiatives either in a corporate set up or in a training organization.

2. Knowledge of LMS and working on it will be integral part to manage the team and training data.

3. Understanding and analysis of training data

Behavioral Skills : 

1. Excellent interpersonal, communication and conversation skills

2. Comprehension and ability to do executive summaries

9. Ability to have training needs conversations, identify skills gap and tailor learning programs in accordance with the same.

Area of Responsibilities: 

Governance & Execution :

a. Execute the L&D road map for India, as agreed with the CHRO and MD of the company

b. Execute the L&D programs and new initiatives as agreed with the Global Talent Manager

c. Ensure compliance of the training SOP.

d. Oversee learning governance, including establishing rhythm and procedures for content refresh, content purge, and regular review of content accuracy.

e. Maintain, publish a L&D Dashboard, analyze the same and work out actions towards continuous improvement.

f. Improve training interventions across all the stages of employee life cycle.

g. Conduct/organize for sessions on Professional, Behavioral and Leadership skills as is required by the Practice if not available under the LMS platform.

h. Share feedback of the programs and work on the areas along with the facilitator.

i. Navi-Cadmi - Technical training framework

i. Work with the technical trainers to organize training sessions as per an agreed calendar.

ii. Work with Practice Leads to co-opt more mentors.

iii. Disburse credits as per the policy.

j. Execute external vendor trainings effectively as per the need and in line with approved budgets.

k. Ensure at least 70% Budget utilization for the year.

Employee facing responsibilities : 

1. They are trained to use the LMS efficiently and effectively.

2. They are encouraged to clock the number of technical and behavioral learning hours as prescribed by the training policy.

3. The training programs on the online learning platform are fully leveraged.

4. Conduct the 2D Navisite Induction for new joiners at regular intervals and ensue 100% coverage in the first two months from DOJ.

5. Handing over of e-Certificates wherever applicable

6. Build a culture of self-development where learning is seen as synonymous with growth and success.

1. Work closely with the MD, Practice Leads and employees, on employee TNI, TNA, training, certification and execute programs based on the needs identified.

2. Manage external stakeholder relationships for customized paid content delivery.

3. For any programs under regional development, develop content strictly in line with business needs and identified areas of development of the intended target audience, measure impact and application on similar lines.

4. Constant communication on status of progress on all L&D programs

Communication Skills: 

1. Work on making communication skills a key differentiator across all levels in the organization.

2. Oversee open calendar of programs calendar and implementation.

Oversee and lead the customized English communication skills calendar and implementation, including ones arising out of the NCC/NOC Call audits. other special requirements

Creating videos, blogs, LinkedIn articles or knowledge of digital platform will be an advantage.
