Job in brief:
Independent handling and directly responsible for ‘Corporate Ad Sales’ Revenue for the Lifestyle Vertical. He / She Shall be handling sales revenues for Mumbai, Delhi, Bangalore, Kolkata, Mini Metros i.e. approx Rs. 65- 100 Cr+ PA.
- Ad revenue to grow at 35%-50% in the vertical i.e. in line with market potential.
- To become the most aggressive, innovative and a great partnering organization in the field of marketing and ad-sales.
- Senior-most level engagement with lifestyle clients (Lifestyle-clothing, fashion, accessories, sports goods, Hypermarkets, organised retail & malls, Jewelry, Tour & travels, Household Goods) - CEO/ CMO & Heads of Media Planning/ Buying agencies
KRA
- Sales Strategy, Revenue results, Business Development
- Recruiting and Running Sales Teams
- Key Account Management
- Corporate – Bhaskar representative with press, industry and government forums as needed
- Oversee all sales operations and optimization of team
- Drive ROI

Person specs
- A management graduate from a B grade institute.
- Industry preference – Lifestyle industry, FMCG, Service Industry; Hypermarkets, Consumer-Telecom; Consumer -BFSI,
- The desired profile would have handled revenue targets of INR 50-100 cr+ & has worked with diverse people segments
- Result oriented with strong analytical capabilities, a solid understanding of key financial and business metrics, and the willingness to run through walls to accomplish a goal
- Presentable/ extroverted, Mature & intelligent with high focus on sales
- Ability to think both strategically, tactically and out of the box, with excellent general business acumen and problem-solving skills, multi-tasking & succeeding in a rapidly changing environment
- Detail-oriented with an ability to prioritize and meet aggressive deadlines
- In-depth understanding of Lifestyle India market. Preferably a Mumbai based- with 5-7 yrs of work exp at Mumbai
- Must have a ‘High consumer focus’ with excellent networking & relationship building with credibility
- Good Understanding of Marketing / Brand Management
- Sound interpersonal skills with a proven ability to lead and influence teams
- Past exposure to start up operations in consumer / direct marketing will be useful
