This is a key Sales & Distribution leadership position for and reports to the Head of Sales for an upcoming new FMCG JV.
The incumbent will plan, own and bring to life, the trade marketing agenda- in line with the Sales & Marketing plans as defined by the organization
Key Responsibilities :
1. Strategic thinking :
- Planning, conceptualization of new product launches, competition information and suggest strategies for Trade Marketing initiatives
- Develop BTL plans, Sales Force Incentives, R&R structure while working closely with the Sales Development Manager, and more
2. Channel Management & In-Market Execution :
- Executing and reviewing effectiveness of merchandising activities, sales promotions, trade schemes, display plans and field force incentive and more.
3. Sales Forecasting & Analytics :
- Understand and utilize of Sales Force Automation (handhelds devices). Using Sales Analytics to drive better execution, frontline productivity, improved ROI for distribution partners across region.
4. Cost & Budget Management :
- Own, plan and deploy monies in best possible manner to achieve desired distribution and visibility impact in the market.
Desired Skills :
- Understanding of FMCG categories .
- Expert in Trade Marketing role, Distributor management, distribution networks of retail and wholesale and merchandising fundamentals.
- Proven excellence in planning & launch of new products leading to achievement of distribution & visibility objectives.

Our Candidate :
- MBA/PGDBM with 8-10 years of total FMCG sales & distribution experience, having led sizeable teams and important geographies as ASM/ZSM etc
- At least, last 3-4 years should have been in an independent Trade Marketing leadership role in a sizeable business in National or large regional capacity.
