National Sourcing Manager (For FNV - Fruits and Vegetables Category)

Job Role : 

- Managing the Pan India Buying activity for Fresh Category (Fresh Fruits and Vegetables)

- Managing buyers at various locations for Day-to-day MIS

- Coordination for Central Buying plan for seasonal SKUs (farmers + vendors)

- Managing Supply chain of Fresh Articles

- Handling end to end annual business of fruits and Vegetable

- Managing the vendor and Farmer Sourcing for Fresh Fruits and Vegetables

- Price Negotiation

- Stock planning - Day cover, Inventory corrections

- Vendor Management - New Vendor creation, Payments & Grievances

- Training - Quality, Handling, Plano-gram, Indenting and Buying

Key Skill : 

- Handling F&V Category Management, With Expertise in Assortment Planning, DSD Vendor Management, Merchandising Planning & Replenishment, Supply Chain Management with Hands on Experience in Driving P&L.

- Forecasting: Annual Forecasting of Sales Based on Seasonality, Quantity Flow, Range availability with Assortment of stocks in right Mix for better sale on Retail space

- Budgeting the Purchases to support sales, Special Discount Offer sales and Projecting the Volume the Volume drive-based Requirement keeping dump under control

- Margin Delivery Managing P&L of the category by focusing at TOP Line and Bottom Line of the category to ensure achieving Budgeted Margin of the Category.

- Merchandising Activity by Coordinating with Regional Sourcing and Ops Team to Develop Local Category Insight through Market analysis. Carrying out the Category Reviews with range review process and In Concern with Regional Operation Team. Store Staffs Training through Presentations, ensuring good Product Knowledge, Customer Relationships, Indenting, Product Placement, Product handling and Target Delivery's.

- Pricing Strategies, Planograming, and Indenting : Tracking Competitors Activities and Keeping abreast with latest Market trend and Requirements and Involved in analysis of sales and Trends there by fixing selling prices as well as by Visiting Local Markets to fix cost Prices. Closely Coordinate with Store Team on Execution of Display and Planogram to ge best sales out of space. Training and Coordinating with Store Team on Indent.

- Promotions - Designing Promotion Plan coordinating with Sourcing team and Getting Executed at Stores to Achieve Planned Target Value. Analysis of Promotion Performance and Guiding Ops Team for better Planning.

- Buying - Buying and Strategic Sourcing Coordination with Sourcing Team and DSD Supply Partners, Identifying and Developing New Categories and Assortment to Develop USP in Market and Full filling Customer Needs.
