Position: National Sales Manager - Watches of Switzerland (Guess, GC, Esprit, Just Cavalli, Roberto Cavalli watches) part of AP Group
Minimum qualification: Any Bachelor's degree (MBA would be added advantage)
Minimum experience: 5-10 years, watch industry is preferred
Job purpose: meet area sales, collection and penetration targets
Key work areas:
- Provide inputs to planning & budgeting exercise by contributing regional sales information
- Create a sales plan and quota for territories in the region in support of zonal sales objectives
- Monitor and review actual vs budgeted sales and collections target on a regular basis for the region and take corrective actions for respective region to drive accomplishment of targets
- Ensure timely collation & completion of all mis reports for the region
- Comply to sales & service process as defined in SOPs and highlight improvement areas to supervisor
- Understand the bottlenecks faced by supervisors and provide solutions for the same
- Resolve any queries regarding products escalated up from the store levels, or from customers regarding service issues
- Attend all zonal meetings / brand management meetings to discuss issues, growth plans, strategies, inputs on targets, new acquisitions etc.
- Identify & evaluate new dealerships and propose to the management for expansion in the territory
- Manage dealers/distributors & periodically communicate company policies, sales schemes, offers, etc. Report major dealers concerns and issues to immediate reporting manager
- Act as a team member for identified improvement initiatives in areas of sales, customer relationships, etc.
Key performance indicators :
1. Financial:
- % variance in achieved vs budgeted sales target
- % variance in achieved vs budgeted collection target
2. Customer:
- Y-o-y % change in market share in region
- Y-o-y % change in market penetration in region
3. Internal:
- Regular tracking and reporting of sales and collection numbers
- Support to front end teams in managing key dealers/distributors
- Quality of coordination with other functions like marketing, supply chain, etc.
- % reduction in customer complaint turnaround time
