National Sales Manager - Surgical Devices
- You are accountable for executing marketing and sales strategies for the surgical business to achieve the top-line target (revenue Target), market-share objectives and Bottom line (Profit) for his line of products.
In addition you will
- Provide ongoing insights and recommendations to the Country Business Unit Head Surgical on how to continue to improve the success and profitability of the surgical business
- Directs and controls sales strategies and activities in a large geographic territory and/or full product-line or a major product in an international aspect.
- Manages sales planning and objectives and sets sales quotas.
- Develop alignment between the sales and marketing functions to drive business results against key brands
- Establish strong relationships within a comprehensive network of regional and national accounts and stakeholders
- Drive the desired behaviours and accountabilities across the surgical sales team
- Drive sales force effectiveness related activities including incentive plan preparation, quota setting, territory alignment, resource allocation, expense management, CRM execution
- Provide leadership and development to the regional sales managers and national sales team
- Identifying, developing and managing sales talent to drive continuous improvement in sales capabilities and develop succession planning pathway
- Active and ongoing development of direct reports including managing performance, motivating, retaining, coaching and developing a high performing team
- Act in accordance with Co's Values and behaviours
Qualification And Experience:
1. Bachelor/ Master degree in Science or Pharmacy or equivalent with Minimum 15+ years of experience & last 5+ years in a similar position with a reputed organization within the Surgical medical devices/ instrumentation in a healthcare industry
2. Proven people management experience preferably with establishing and motivating a sales team
3. Demonstrable track record developing and executing business plans, goal setting and team building, performance management
4. Strong Analytical skills to discover business insight and opportunities
5. Strong desire and ability to learn technical knowledge
6. Sound working knowledge of OH&S, risk management, workers compensation legislation and principles
