Responsibilities:
- Identify and develop strategic channel partnerships with distributors, sub-distributors and large format retailers in order to merchandise our products
- Design and execute sales schemes to ensure desired sell-through
- Develop Retail strategies to increase the presence of our product on a national level
- Conduct Market research to identify consumer buying behaviours & cross selling opportunities
- Lead Sales Team comprising of regional managers, sales managers, team leads and product demonstrators in achieving top line targets (volume & revenue)
- Spearhead business development initiatives that are consistent with overall strategy
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration/Management and/or commerce or related field.
MBA with specialization in Marketing is an Asset
- 10 - 15 years experience as a senior level channel and/or retail sales executive for mobile devices
- 5+ years experience in acquiring contracts & negotiating terms with national/multi-regional modern trade retail outlets
- Proven evangelical sales track record in new product & vertical sales environment (forecasting & inventory planning is an asset)
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and staff to create a results driven, team oriented environment
- Willingness to travel
