The incumbent's responsibilities as National Sales Manager and an integral part of the India Leadership Team will include the following :
- Lead multi-channel sales & distribution comprising both direct and indirect sales teams and distributor networks; play a key role in motivating the both internal and external teams to achieve growth targets
- Responsible for meeting monthly/quarterly/annual sales performance targets while maintaining assigned pricing and profitability targets
- Be active member of India Leadership Team and think tank to achieve and maintain leadership position in all our therapies areas.
- Work closely and provide inputs to HQ, esp Marketing and Medical affairs in the development of key messages and tactical plans and closely work along with them for implementing the same.
- Build and strengthen relationships / credibility with the Key Opinion Leaders and Key Stakeholders in public and private institutions consistent with company's global presence and brand image.
- Lead and guide team in handling key negotiations with Key Accounts and Channel and Segment Partners CXOs and stakeholders.
- Lead and guide team on market access, tender and reimbursement business and improve access of our products and therapies in all segments in the markets.
- Constructively deal with channel conflict situations; maintain ARs in control as per organizational norms.
- Apply strong analytics and business acumen to build new 'breakthrough' business areas potentially involving turn key projects, and partnerships / alliances with major healthcare providers
- Effective execution of all promotional activities of Company products, product and campaign launches always ensuring adherence to company's policies and guidelines.
- Continually monitor progress and adoption of strategies and tactics as necessary
- Set high standards of customer satisfaction and patient focus
- Overall responsibility for ensuring effective distributor network
- Ensure Company's compliance and ethical standards are maintained in the market place
- Recruit, train, mentor and manage a high caliber sales team with above industry average retention rate.
- Develop a highly engaged and high performing team by coaching, guiding and acting as role model.
- Ensure implementation of key strategic and go-to-market projects relating to Digital / e-commerce/ SFE etc.
- Help the organization by identifying 'Go to market' opportunities which can help the company expand scale and scope of operations in India and South Asian markets.
