Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Strategy Development: Develop, implement, and continually refine the national sales strategy for MyFitness, aligning with overall business goals and market trends.
- Revenue Generation: Drive revenue growth by identifying new sales opportunities, expanding the customer base, and increasing sales volumes across multiple offline channels, retail partnerships, and potential B2B clients.
- Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a high-performing sales team, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations to ensure targets are met or exceeded
- Institution Building: Drive institutionalisation by continually introducing systems / tools / processes to build higher transparency & efficiency of the entire sales ecosystem
- Market Analysis: Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and consumer preferences to adapt the sales strategy and capitalize on emerging opportunities.
- Relationship Management: Establish and nurture strong relationships with key retail partners, distributors, and potential B2B clients to enhance brand visibility and secure strategic partnerships.
- Sales Forecasting and Reporting: Develop accurate sales forecasts, track performance metrics, and generate regular reports for senior management, providing insights into progress and areas for improvement.
- Collaboration: Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product development, and supply chain, to align sales efforts with product launches, marketing campaigns, and inventory management.
- Budget Management: Manage the sales budget effectively, allocating resources to maximize ROI and achieve sales objectives.
- Sales Training: Partner with the HR team to deliver sales training programs to equip the sales team with product knowledge, selling techniques, and exceptional customer service skills.
- Customer Focus: Maintain a deep understanding of customer needs, preferences, and pain points to ensure the MyFitness brand delivers value and satisfaction.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field; MBA is a plus.
- Proven track record of success in national or regional sales management, preferably within the health and fitness industry or related fmcg / consumer goods sector
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a sales team to achieve and surpass targets.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to analyze market trends, identify opportunities, and develop actionable plans.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for building relationships with internal teams and external partners.
- Proficiency in sales analytics, reporting tools, and CRM systems.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for innovation and continuous improvement.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, adapting to changes and challenges effectively
