Our client is a leading and innovative cosmetic brand dedicated to enhancing beauty and well-being. With a strong commitment to quality, innovation, and customer satisfaction, they have established themselves as a prominent player in the cosmetic industry. We are now seeking a highly experienced and motivated National Sales Manager to lead general trade sales efforts and drive growth.

Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Strategy Development: Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve revenue and market share goals within the general trade segment.
- Team Leadership: Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing national sales team, including Regional Sales Managers and Sales Executives, to meet and exceed sales targets.
- Market Expansion: Identify new market opportunities, channels, and potential partners within the general trade sector to increase brand presence and sales.
- Distributor and Retailer Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with distributors, retailers, and other key stakeholders, ensuring alignment with our brand values and objectives.
- Forecasting and Budgeting: Develop annual sales forecasts and budgets, track performance against targets, and implement corrective actions as needed.
Sales Training and Development: Provide ongoing training and development opportunities for the sales team to enhance their product knowledge, selling skills, and customer service.
- Market Analysis: Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and consumer preferences to make informed decisions and adjustments to the sales strategy.
Sales Reporting: Generate regular reports and analyses to measure sales performance and provide insights for continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).
A minimum of 15 years of progressive sales experience in the cosmetic or beauty industry, with a focus on the general trade segment.
- Proven track record of successfully leading sales teams and achieving revenue targets.
- Strong knowledge of the general trade distribution channels, including distributors, wholesalers, and retailers.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make strategic decisions.
- Self-motivated and results-oriented with a passion for the cosmetic industry.
